Certificate Transparency

Authenticity, documented with care.

Each Dara Pearls piece is accompanied by a third-party pearl identification certificate. The certificate records the pearl type, visible surface characteristics, test date, certificate number, verification code, and QR verification information. The original certificate may include Chinese text because our pearls are tested by a jewelry identification institution in China before shipment. If the verification website is difficult to access in your region, please contact us with your order number and certificate image. Our team will help you review the certificate information.

Our Standard

Every piece is documented with care.

At Dara Pearls, authenticity is part of the beauty of every piece. Each pearl jewelry item is accompanied by a third-party pearl identification certificate, created to document the pearl type, visible surface characteristics, certificate number, verification code, and QR verification information.

About the Institution

Why the certificate may include Chinese text

Many Dara Pearls certificates are issued through GIC-related jewelry testing resources in China. GIC is associated with the gemological and jewelry testing resources of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), a respected institution in gemology education, research, and jewelry identification.

The certificate is not a brand-made document. It is a third-party identification record designed to support transparency and authenticity.

Our certificates may include Chinese text because our pearls are tested by a jewelry identification institution in China before shipment. Customers can use the certificate number, verification code, or QR code shown on the certificate to review the record with the issuing institution.

What It Confirms

The certificate helps document

  • Freshwater pearl identification
  • Visible pearl characteristics
  • Certificate number and testing record
  • QR code or verification code information
  • Testing date and item description

Important Limitations

What it is not intended to replace

  • It is not a value appraisal.
  • It is not an investment certificate.
  • It is not a GIA certificate.
  • It does not confirm metal content unless clearly stated.
  • It is mainly used for pearl identification and certificate record verification.

Natural pearls are never perfectly identical. Their soft luster, organic surface texture, and subtle variations are part of what makes each Dara Pearls piece uniquely yours.

Certificate FAQ

Questions about authenticity

Why is my certificate in Chinese?

Our pearls are tested by a jewelry identification institution in China before shipment, so the original certificate may include Chinese text. The certificate number, QR code, and verification code can still be used to review the record.

Is this the same as a GIA certificate?

No. This is a third-party pearl identification certificate. It should not be described as a GIA certificate or as an international gemstone grading report.

Does the certificate prove the metal material?

Not always. Some certificates are focused on pearl identification and may state that the metal component was not tested. Please refer to the product details for jewelry material information.

Can I ask for help verifying it?

Yes. Contact us with your order number and a clear image of your certificate, and our team will help guide you through the verification process.
